Traditionally, buying measuring equipment is a high-point cost for small businesses. Measuring tools are not only used internally but are also used by many contractors and building professionals that need to have accurate dimensions as part of their daily job. Unfortunately, the normal cost of these devices is too high versus what they should be selling for and to be worth the investment or purchase. For this, I have created an affordable set of precision measuring devices meant to assist in creating a business or job profitable enough to afford higher-end devices when that time comes.

Knowing the right measuring tools and equipment is critical to make sure you have consistent quality in your production processes and the best end product. Read on.

Feeler Gauge

If you ever wanted to get a measuring tool which is 50 shades of reliable, then the feeler gauge is the one for you. The feeler gauge can be used to measure the gap between two surfaces in cars and other machines. The instrument takes its name from the fact that when inner measurement is less than the intermediate measurement, then it is only an “intermediate” width.

Circumference Measuring Tape

Let’s face it, these days, GPS and Google maps have become a part of our lives. Whether you’re going on a road trip, hiking, or just hanggliding through the skies, there’s always this urge to know what the distance between two points is. Most of us use a GPS unit to find out the distance, but sometimes we don’t want to take our gadgets and want something handy. That’s why we need you — The circumference measuring tape!

If you need a tape to measure the circumference, diameter, and even thickness, you should definitely have the Circumference Measuring Tape in your toolbox.

Combination Square Set

Combination Square Set is one of the tools you can find in every craftsman’s workshop. This measuring tool has many uses. You can even use it to measure the inside and outside angle, just like a protractor. It also helps you draw parallel lines quickly. The different marking scales allow you to use them as a measuring tool while you are in the middle of a project.

A combination square set consists of an adjustable rule, a movable head and a base. The most noticeable part of the combination square is the blade-shaped head with its non-glare surface that provides you with both scribing and squaring capabilities.

This product is made of steel and has a wide range of measurements from 0 to 7 inches, 0 to 13 inches, 0 to 25.5 meters, and 0 to 15 feet. When you use the product, it helps you create various patterns and shapes. You can mark the lines created on your project using this product as well.

Micrometer

Do you know what would be really cool? If you could measure the “depthness” of something. You’d be all like, “Yes…my hole is DEEP” or “My hole is SHALLOW” and it would sound like you knew what you were talking about. Ok, I’ll admit that’s not a real word — but a depth micrometer would give you the ability to say that anyways. Now, I’m not sure why or how you’d need to measure the depth of a hole or recess — but I do know that having one of these on my tool belt would make me feel all industrial (in a good way).

You can use the depth micrometer in different ways to get the perfect measurement. It even comes with a 4mm rod and key accessories you might need.

Micrometers can be used to measure the radius of a part and determine if it conforms to the specifications. To use, simply adjust the thimble until the beam reads zero and then adjust the arm until the measuring tip rests on the face of the part. Be careful not to let your fingers get in-between the thimble and the beam, as this may cause unwanted damage.

Curv-O-Mark Wrap-A-Round

Get this, Curv-O-Mark Wrap-A-Round is one of the finest exponents in pipe and garments marking tools. It is the only tool that has all the capabilities to roll from top to bottom, side to side, left to right, clockwise or counterclockwise.

Your pipes need to be properly measured, marked, and fitting from time to time due to everyday rough use. It is essential that you need your trustworthy tool for the job with you.
